A trio of Wasaren teams were in action Saturday as softball squads from Greenwich and Hoosick Falls both played a pair of non league contests, while the Tamarac boys played seven with Berne-Knox.


Hoosick Falls 6  Duanesburg 3

Winning Pitcher:  Abby Philpott

Leading Hitters:  Falls – Liz Ryan 2-3, 2B, 3B    Mac Ellis 2-3, 3B, 3 RBI’s     Duanesburg – Vic Passonno 2-3, 2B    Morgan Hoffman 2-4, RBI

Summary:  The Falls posts the “W” in the opening round of the Lake George Tournament.

Summary:  The Warriors shutout the Panthers through the first six frames in winning their own tourney.

Summary:  The Bengals rip 20 hits and plate 17, blowing out Knox and improving to 6-4, 7-6 on the season.
