Sure it’s early in the high school golf season but you have to like the way the fall campaign has started if you’re swinging the sticks for Greenwich or Hoosick Falls. Both clubs posted wins on Thursday moving the Witches mark to 4-0 while the Panthers are perfect in their three outings.
Greenwich 4 1/2 Cambridge 1/2: Reid Boduch and Mason Williamson won individual matches for Greenwich in action at Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Greenwich’s Jake Owens and Cambridge’s Ben Epler tied in flight 2, while Darren Polly and Darren Pemrick picked up points in flights 4 and 5 with forfeit wins for the Witches.
Hoosick Falls 4 1/2 Tamarac 1/2: Ryan Bloomer carded the low round of 38 to lead the Panthers past the Bengals of Tamarac in a match played at Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Matthew Smith, Connor Smith and Brady Hathaway joined Bloomer in the winner’s circle for the Falls, while in flight 4 the Panthers Miles Smith tied with Tamarac’s Jacob Swanson, to split the point.
