Mechanicville 2 Stillwater 0: The Raiders used a pair of first half goals to secure the “W” in the annual Indian Cup match with neighboring Stillwater.
Drew Murphy put Mechanicville on the board just 2:30 in, scoring with a header off a Jeff Luce corner.
Midway through the half Marcus Tobin put back a rebound giving the Raiders the 2-0 advantage, all they would need to run their record to a sterling 10-0 in league play.
Tyler Kraszewski and the Mechanicville defense picked up the shutout with Kraszewski saving three shots in the match.
Berlin 2 Cambridge 1: After a scoreless first half the visitors from Berlin found the back of the net for a pair of scores, just enough to edge the Indians of Cambridge.
Seconds after the break, Ryan Willis found the range from 35 yards out giving Berlin the 1-0 lead and midway through the half a Cambridge miscue led to Berlin’s second score.
With 5:00 left on the clock Patrick Robertson tallied off a PK, but the Indians couldn’t produce the equalizer in the remaining minutes.
Greenwich 2 Saratoga Catholic 0: Henry Hansen scored in the first half, Al Rymph in the second, and keeper Brenden Rodd saved three shots for the shutout as Greenwich turned back Spa Catholic on Thursday.
