Girls Soccer; Raiders Turn Back the Panthers

Mechanicville 7  Hoosick Falls 1:  The Red Raiders took control with four first half strikes in notching the victory over the Panthers to complete an unbeaten regular season.

Jada Brown scored a hat trick, with Brynn Murphy and Mackenzie Bowie adding a pair of goals each for the 14-0-1 Wasaren Champions. 

Darian Morgan scored a second half goal for the Falls.

 

Tamarac 2  Hoosic Valley 1 OT:  Lauren Lockrow scored her second goal of the match in the first overtime session giving the Bengals the victory over the Indians of Hoosic Valley.

Sami Dickinson tallied for the Valley and keeper Lauren Paul played well between the posts saving 20 shots for the Indians.

 

Waterford 6  Berlin 2:  The Fordians scored six times before the break in cruising past Berlin.

Alexis Viola and Caitlin Briella led Waterford with two goals each, while Annalise Rebel and Emily Woodward added single strikes for the Fordians.

 

 

Cambridge 2  Emma Willard 0:  A first half goal from Miranda Seacord and a Grace Snyder score after the break was more than enough for the Indians to post the win over Emma Willard.

Victoria Dupuis needed just two saves to post the shutout for Cambridge who finish the regular season at 10-4, 12-4.

 

Stillwater 6  Greenwich 0:  Stillwater’s Brooke Pickett scored four first half goals, Keelyn Peacock added a pair after intermission and keeper  Sydney Frank with three saves earned the shutout for the Warriors.
