The Stillwater girls are making wins in the post season look easy. The Warriors have played five games in the second season and in those contests they’ve outscored opponents 25-2.
Saturday in Plattsburgh Stillwater faced Northern Adirondack in a Class C regional final and continued their dominance, posting a 7-1 victory sending the Warriors to the state semifinals.
Stillwater scored six times in the first half of play in a game that quickly became a one-sided affair.
Five Warriors found the range in the match with Brooke Pickett and Teya Staie scoring a pair of goals each, while Paige Brinsko, Kaelyn Peacock and Devon Wagner added single strikes for the lethal Stillwater attack.
With the win Stillwater improves to 19-2, adds a regional championship to their Section II title, and finds themselves in the Class C state Final Four.
