Tamarac 5 Hoosick Falls 4 OT: The Bengals Max Ali scored four goals, his last coming early in the second overtime session, leading Tamarac the narrow “W” over Hoosick Falls.
Ali beat two defenders and found the back of the net in the second overtime capping a four goal outing, with Miles Ednie also finding the range for Tamarac.
Zach Cahill, Connor Jones, Matt LaPorte, Daniel Louis Charles and all tallied in the match for Hoosick Falls.
Mechanicville 7 Stillwater 2: The Red Raiders jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the half and went on to post the victory over the Warriors of Stillwater.
Kevin Charette paced Mechanicville with a pair of goals, with Jeff Luce, Zach Rapaccioulo, Rocco DeVito, Marcus Tobin and Riley Duesler all adding single strikes for the Raiders who move to 3-0 in league play with the win.
Grant Baker and Cooper Monast scored in the match for Stillwater.
Greenwich 6 Berlin 0: The Witches led 4-0 heading into the break and cruised to the shutout win over the Mountaineers of Berlin.
Charlie Gartner scored twice and Al Rymph, Tyler Murray, Christian O’Brien and Tommy Abate added all added single goals for Greenwich, who’s keeper Sam Whiting needed just one save to record the shutout.
Cambridge 2 Waterford 2 OT: Despite a pair of overtime sessions the match ended in a 2-2 tie.
Cambridge’s Orion Baker-Porazinski’s goal staked the Indians to a 1-0 halftime lead and Baker-Porazinski added another score after the break, but goals from Nick Rich and Jaycen Janusz evened things for the Fordians.
Golf
Mechanicville 3 Waterford 2: Jacob Popiel fired the low round of 42 leading the Red Raiders to the win over the Fordains.
Joey Manzer posted a win in flight 4 for Mechanicville while Connor Lyons and Jake Houle won in their flights for Waterford. Mechanicville secured the match win via the tie breaker.
Tamarac 4 Cambridge 1: Will Ashley earned medalist honors carding a 42 to pace the Bengals in a match played at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Tuesday.
Mike Jacques, and Nate Krill both notched wins for Tamarac while in flight three Jake Toomey (C) tied Zack Krill (T) and in flight five James Tollman (C) tied Colby Phelps (T).
Greenwich 5 Stillwater 0: In a match played at the Battenkill Greenwich swept the Warriors with Jake Owens round of 36 leading the way.
Reed Boduch, Mason Williamson, Tyler Ziehm and Grant Peck all joined Owens in the winner’s circle for the Witches.
