Greenwich 2 Hoosick Falls 1 OT: Faith Ingber took a Cate Abate feed and found the back of the net in overtime to give Greenwich the victory over the Panthers.
Ingber had assisted Abate for the Witches first goal in the match giving the host squad a 1-0 lead at the half, but an Olivia Brownell tally for the Falls after the break tied things at 1-1 setting up the game-winner by Ingber.
Cambridge 11 Berlin 3: The Indians exploded for nine second half scores, breaking open what was a 3-2 game at the half in a match played at Berlin on Wednesday.
Vanessa Evans with four goals and Lily Phillips with three led the Cambridge attack with Sophie Phillips, Taylor Stallmer, Anna Headwell and Rhiannon Darling all adding single strikes.
Rachel Bortnick and Katie DeLaurentis both found the range with first half goals for Berlin.
Mechanicville 5 Tamarac 0: Jada Brown with two goals and two assists showed the way as the Red Raiders posted the shutout “W” over the Bengals of Tamarac.
Nevaeh D’Alioa, Brynn Murphy and Dani Rubino added goals for Mechanicville and Raider keeper Savannah Bowie saved nine to earn the shutout.
Golf
Hoosick Falls 5 Mechanicville 0: Ryan Bloomer carded the low round of 38, including a hole-in-one on the seventh, leading the Falls to the sweep of Mechanicville.
Matt Smith, Miles Smith, Brady Hathaway and Alison Hathaway all notched wins for the Panthers as they stay perfect on the year at 9-0.
Bloomer’s ace came on the par-3, 207 yard 7th at the Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Tamarac 5 Stillwater 0: In a match played at the Saratoga Lake Golf Course Will Ashley, Micheal Jacques, Zach Krill, Nate Krill and Colby Phelps all posted wins for Tamarac in their sweep of Stillwater.
Saratoga Catholic 4 1/2 Hoosic Valley 1/2: Terel Tillman fired a 39 to earn medalist honors and lead the Saints to the win in a match played at the Battenkill Country Club on Wednesday.
Jack Constantino, Jake Welcome and Will Fizer all joined Tillman in the winner’s circle while in flight four the Saints Garrett Quinn and the Valleys Brandon Watkins split the point.
