Stillwater 3  Tamarac 2 OT:  Just a few minutes into the extra session Stillwater’s Scott Travis scored his third goal of the match leading the Warriors to the overtime win Monday night.

Tamarac’s Max Ali gave the Bengals the 1-0 lead scoring the only goal by either squad in the first half.

After the break Travis scored his first goal on a header off a Grant Baker corner to knot things at 1-1.

With 17:00 left in regulation it was Travis again this time finishing a Jake Zdonick cross for a 2-1 Warriors lead.

With just over 4:00 remaining in the half Ali tied things, scoring off a direct kick and sending the contest into overtime where Travis connected on the game-winner under the lights in Stillwater.

 

Mechanicville 3  Greenwich 1:  The Red Raiders broke open a 1-1 game at the half with a pair of second half strikes in posting the win over Greenwich.

Just seven minutes in Mechanicville’s Jeff Luce found the back of the net giving the Raiders the early lead, but midway through the first Liam Kelleher tied things, scoring on a penalty kick as the teams went to intermission knotted at 1-1.

After the break Luce connected on his second goal of the match and Kevin Charette also found the range for Mechanicville who with the win stay perfect in league play at 5-0.

 

Berlin 4  Hoosic Valley 1:  Cody Hunt scored twice, and Adison Colini and Kasey Billert added singles strikes leading the Mountaineers past Hoosic Valley at Berlin on Monday.’

Ben Thompson got the Indians on the board finding the range with a second half tally.

 

Waterford 1  Saratoga Catholic 0:  Nate Powell scored the matches only goal with a second half finish off a Tyler Galarneau find giving the Fordians the slim “W” over the Saints.

Fordian keeper Bobby Valigorski with six saves earned the shutout for Waterford.

 

Cambridge 1  Hoosick Falls 0:  Just seven minutes into the match Orion Baker-Porazinski found Alex Hommel who finished with only score of the match as Cambridge prevailed at home over the Panthers.

Parker Robertson with five saves and the Cambridge defense picked up the shutout as the Indians improve to 2-2-1 with the victory.

 

Golf

Hoosick Falls 4  Tamarac 1:  The Panthers Ryan Bloomer and Matt Smith both fired rounds of 41 leading the Falls the win over Tamarac and keeping Hoosick Falls perfect on the year at 12-0.

In addition to Bloomer and Smith posting individual “W’s”, Miles Smith and Cody Phelps also earned points for the Falls.

Nate Krill picked up the Tamarac point with a win in flight 4.

 

Greenwich 5  Cambridge 0:  In action at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Monday Reed Boduch and Jake Owens both carded 39’s to share medalist honors in the Witches shutout of Cambridge.

Mason Williamson, Tyler Ziehm and Grant Peck completed the sweep notching wins for Greenwich who improves to 11-2 on the season.

 

Saratoga Catholic 5  Mechanicville 0:  The Saints Terel Tillman fired the low round of 40 to lead Spa Catholic past the Red Raiders in a match played at Saratoga Spa Park.

Joining Tillman in the winner’s circle were teammates Jake Welcome, Jack Constantino, Garrett Quinn and Will Fizer as the Saints secure their tenth win in twelve outings this year.
