Mechanicville 9  Greenwich 2:  The Mechanicville boys soccer team has shown the way in the Wasaren this year sporting a 7-0 league mark heading into Tuesday’s match in Greenwich.  The Witches have forged a nice first half of the season as well coming into the contest at 5-2-2.  On paper the matchup pointed towards a competitive get-together.  Didn’t happen.

Mechanicville scored five times before the break and cruised to the “W” to stay perfect in league play.

Jeff Luce, Riley Duesler, and Zach Rapaccioulo all found the back of the net twice for the Raiders while Chris Ciccarelli, Jake Cavert and Andrew Micare added single strikes as Mechanicville moves to 8-0, 8-1 with the victory.

Charlie Gartner and AJ Rymph tallied for the Witches and their keeper Owen Keech under pressure all afternoon saved 20 shots in the match.

Waterford 5  Hoosick Falls 2:  Hunter Guertin scored a hat trick to lead the Fordians past the Falls.

Tyler Galaneau and Will Soden added goals for Waterford who improves to 4-3-2 with the win, while the Panthers slip to 3-6 with the loss.
