Three league squads were in action Saturday night with Hoosic Valley and Stillwater meeting in the Cohoes girls tournament, while the Saratoga Catholic boys faced Argyle in the championship game of the Mike Beson Memorial Tourney.

Key Stat: The Valley won each of the first three quarters, building a 35-15 cushion before closing it out in the fourth.
Take Away: Hoosic Valley comes out of the Cohoes tourney at 1-1, showing early on their ability to guard in holding both Mekeel and Stillwater under 39 points. Stillwater goes 0-2 in the tournament and will look to improve offensively having scored double figures in just one period thus far.

Key Stat: The Saints jumped out to an 18-4 advantage after the first and needed all of that cushion to hold off the Scots in the championship run at the Mike Beson Tournament.
Take Away: Spa Catholic has shown a balanced attack in their first two outings which will serve them well as they ready for the gauntlet of the Wasaren schedule.
