A handful of league teams stepped on the floor Saturday in non-league runs and here’s a look at how it all played out.

Girls

Tamarac 55  Emma Willard 45

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Emily Erickson 31        Syrita Faraj 12            Emma Willard – Angelina Ferritto 17         Molly Zahnieuter 14

Key Stat:  Trailing by one at the half the Bengals outscored their guests 35-24 over the final two periods to post the win on Tamarac’s Big Red Day celebration.

 

Cambridge 67  Berne-Knox 41

Leading Scorers:  Indians – Lily Phillips 25      Sophie Phillips 13      Fiona Mooney 11     Knox- Taylor Meachum 15      Alexis Wright 13

Key Stat:  Another blueprint win for Cambridge where they started fast, (45-19 halftime lead), put multiple players in doubles, knocked down six threes and held their opponent to 41 points.  Following their method of operation produces the Indians 15th win in 16 outings.   

 

Boys

Hoosick Falls 56  Mt. Anthony 47

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Jon Kempf 28       Tristan Williams 16          Patriots – Gavin Johnson 10

Key Stat:  With the game tied 28-28 at the half, the Falls eased away from their Vermont visitors over the final two periods, converting on 21 of 31 from the line to help get it done.

 

Bishop Maginn 68  Tamarac 64

Leading Scorers:  Maginn – Jayden Williams 16       Anthony Davis 14       Treylan Cortina 12        Kurtis McMullen 11        Bengals – Bo Catherwood 24       Ian Scott 18      Frank Zotto 15

Key Stat:  The Bengals took a 56-51 lead to the final frame but couldn’t hold of Maginn who put four players in doubles and bottomed eight triples in the win.
