The Valley scored 12 times over the final two frames, closing their regular season out with the comfortable victory and an 11-5 league mark.

Nemjo enjoys a nice afternoon as the winning pitcher as well as hitting for the cycle, part of a 16-hit assault by the Bengals.

Winning Pitcher:  Kaden Hall  6 IP  3 Hits  0 Runs  7 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Witches – James Ostrowski 2-2, 2B, RBI      Carson Mosher 2B, RBI     Jesse Kuzmich 2B, RBI

Hall throws six scoreless innings against a potent Bengals lineup, leading the Witches to the “W”.

 

Waterford 6  Greenwich 3

Winning Pitcher:  Michael Talavera 7 IP  3 Hits  2 ER  2 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Fordians – Michael Talavera 3-4, 2B, RBI      Mike Castracani 3-5, RBI   Thomas Phelan 2-5, 2B, 2 RBI’s         Witches – Tom Abate 2-3

With the game tied at 3-3 heading to fifth, Waterford plated one in the fifth and a pair in the sixth to secure the road win over the Witches.

 

Waterford 10  Cambridge 0

Winning Pitcher:  Mike Castracani 7 IP  3 Hits  0 Runs  10 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Fordians – Thomas Phelan 3-4, RBI      Michael Talavera 3-4, 2B, RBI     Bobby Valigorski 2-4

Castracani spins the three-hit shutout, and a five run third frame for the Fordians was more than enough for the “W” as Waterford closes it’s regular season at 9-7 in Wasaren play.
