Mechanicville 3  Schenectady 2 OT:  In the first overtime period Jake LaFountain played a free kick into the box and Andrew Krazsewski redirected a rebound into the back of the net giving the Red Raiders the well earned victory over the Patriots.

Tyler Tesorieio with a first half goal and Kevin Charette connecting on a second half scoring strike rounded out the Mechanicville offense in the nonleague win.

 

Greenwich 1  Galway 0:  A Charlie Gartner first half strike off a Connor Smith find, was all the offense the Witches needed in getting past Galway Monday afternoon in Greenwich.

Witches keeper Andres Gonzalez (7 saves), combined with the Greenwich defense to post the shutout, as the Witches with the win move to 4-0 on the year.

 

Saratoga Catholic 5  North Warren 0:  Dante Marin’s hat trick led the Saints to the easy non-league victory over North Warren.

Luke Apy and Nate Marin also found the range for Spa Catholic and Andrew MacPherson with nine saves combined with the Saints “D” for the shutout.

 

Stillwater 8  Hartford 0:  The Warriors scored six goals after the break in posting the easy “W” over the Tanagers on Monday.

Grant Baker rang the bell five times for Stillwater with Isaac Cutler, Harry Rubenstein and Gavin Baker all adding singled scoring strikes.

Tim Buchal (5 saves), and the Stillwater defense combined for the shutout as the Warriors move to 3-0 on the season with the victory.

 

Hoosic Valley  7  Hoosick Falls 2:  The Valley took control with a 4-1 lead at the break and coasted to the comfortable win over the Falls.

Josh Ackerley and Jake Cavert with two goals each led the Indians and Derek Howard, John Wiley and Andrew Wood also found the range for scores.
