Stillwater 46  Tamarac 6:  Stillwater quarterback James Galarneau threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, leading the Warriors to the easy victory over the Bengals of Tamarac, Friday night in Stillwater.

Galarneau connected on scoring strikes of 40 and 20 yards to Luc Lescault, added a two yard toss to Ryan Greene, and scored on a 71 yard scoring run to round out his four touchdown night.

Lescault scored the first points of the game on an 81 yard scoring rip, Mason Seymour joined the Warrior scoring parade with a 33 yard third quarter score and Tyler Paffin wrapped up the 46 point effort with a 5-yard TD in the third.

Galarneau, Lescault and Seymour all eclipsed 100 yards rushing on the night.

Tamarac got on the board in the third period when Tristan Nemjo found wideout Honsinger for a 27-yard throw and catch.

Next up for the 2-0 Warriors is a Friday night contest when Stillwater welcomes in Canajoharie/Ft. Plain.

 

Greenwich 34  Granville 12:  The Witches ran out to a 20-0 halftime lead and cruised to the home “W” over the Golden Horde of Granville.

Greenwich quarterback Jesse Kuzmich threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns, finding Luke Pemrick on a 35 yard connection and Max Maguire on a 30 yard scoring strike.

Chris Albrecht with 67 yards and a touchdown, and Pemrick with 57 yards and a score  led the Greenwich ground attack that totaled 154 yards on the night.

Granville scored in the third period on a five yard run by Josh Oakman and their second touchdown came in the fourth when Myles Paquette ran it in from six yards out.

Both clubs see their season marks go to 1-1 and will look to improve next weekend when Greenwich travels to Hoosick Falls to take on the Panthers, with Granville taking to the road as well for a Saturday matchup with the Tigers of Cohoes.
