Mechanicville 5  Cambridge 1:  In a game Mechanicville led 1-0 at the break, the Raiders scored four goals over the first fifteen minutes of the second half to post the win going away.

Five different Raiders tallied in the match with Zach Rapaccioulo, Andrew Kraszewski, Jake LaFountain, Tyler Tesoriero, and Wyqui Agunda all finding the range for Mechanicville.

Jordan Brown scored the Cambridge goal late in the second half.

 

Tamarac 4  Stillwater 0:  Max Ali, Ethan Brown, Riley Hayner and Rocco DiCarlo all found the back of the net in the Bengals comfortable win over the Warriors.

Tamarac keeper Tyler Nemjo saved six shots for the shutout as the Bengals improve to 3-1, 6-1 on the year with the win.

 

Waterford 10  Hoosic Valley 1:  The Fordians rang the bell five times in each half rolling over the Indians of Hoosic Valley.

Nate Powell with four goals and Jaycen Janusz with three led the Waterford assault.  Tyler Galarneau added a pair of scores and Omar Takuri rounded out the Fordian attack with a single tally.

 

Greenwich 4  Hoosick Falls 1:  A pair of first half goals by Charlie Gartner staked Greenwich 2-1 lead at intermission, and the Witches sealed the “W” with two unanswered after the break, notching the road win over the Panthers.

AJ Rymph and Tom Haberland connected with second half strikes for Greenwich, and it was Evan Webster who found the range for the Hoosick Falls goal.

 

Girls Soccer

Stillwater 8  Waterford 0 (Tuesday):  The Warriors scored four times in each half in the one-sided decision over the Fordians.

Brooke Pickett with three goals, Keelyn Peacock and Teya Staie with a pair each and Kylie Peacock with a single strike rounded out the Warriors attack.

Kiersten Conroy with three saves combined with the Stillwater defense for the shutout.

 

Greenwich 5  Hoosic Valley 1:  Faith Ingber with three goals and Tess Merrill with two provided more than enough offense for the Witches to get past the Indians.

A pair of Ingber tallies gave Greenwich a 2-0 halftime lead, and the Witches scored the first three goals after the break before the Valley’s Samantha Dickinson connected to round out the scoring in the match,
