Mechanicville 4 Catholic Central 1: Mechanicville scored a pair of goals in each half to secure the victory in the opening round of the Section II tournament.
Nevaeh D’Alioa with two goals and Hannah Garone and Patty Snyder with a goal apiece led the Red Raider attack.

Cohoes 2 Greenwich 1 OT: Quincy Hytko found the back of the net in overtime giving the Tigers the win over the Witches.
Caileigh Miron for Cohoes and Tess Merrill for Greenwich connected with first half scoring strikes, while after the break defense took center stage as the two squads played through a scoreless second half setting up Hytko’s overtime heroics.
Broadalbin Perth 3 Tamarac 0: Brooke Bush with a pair of goals and Alanya Preston with a single strike led Broadalbin past the Bengals of Tamarac.
Patriots keeper Caitlin Palmateer saved six shots to earn the shutout.

Saratoga Catholic 3 Heatly 1: The Saints scored twice after intermission to post the road win in the opening round of Class D.
Alexa Hercamp tallied in each half and Lauren Maher found the range with a second half strike to lead the Spa Catholic attack.
The Saints advance to take on top seeded New Lebanon in a quarterfinal on Monday.

Mechanicville 8 Cairo-Durham 0: The Raiders scored four times in each half in rolling over Cairo in the Class B opening round match.
Wyqui Agunda and Brandt St.Gelais with two goals a piece and Tyler Tesoriero, Kevin Charette, Andrew Kraszewski and Colin McNut with single tallies led the Mechanicville onslaught.
Raider keepers Zach White, three saves and Glenn Prarie with one combined with the Mechanicville defense for the shutout.

Tamarac 4 Glens Falls 1: Trailing 1-0 at the break the Bengals dominated the second half of play scoring four unanswered to notch the come-from-behind victory over Glens Falls.
Miles Ednie connected twice and Rocco DiCarlo and Dylan Briccetti added single strikes to lead Tamarac offensively.
The Bengals move on and will host Cobleskill in a quarterfinal match on Saturday at 3 p.m.
