Mechanicville 1 Hudson 0: After a scoreless first half played between the 18’s, the Red Raiders increased the intensity after the break and cashed in with 18:00 remaining in regulation when Andrew Kraszewski found Zach Rapaccioulo who beat a defender and finished for the eventual game-winner in Class B quarterfinal action.
Zac White (5 saves), and the Mechanicville defense combined for the shutout as the Raiders move on to the semi’s and will face Schuylerville on Wednesday at Mohonasen High School.
Galway 2 Waterford 0: Carson Scribner and Braden Boudreau connected for first half goals and the Galway “D” shut down the Fordians attack, posting the victory in a Class C quarterfinal.
Henry Flint with four saves earned the shutout for Galway.
Maple Hill 4 Stillwater 0: In a 1-0 game at the half, Maple Hill took control with three scores after the break in posting the shutout “W” over Stillwater in Class C quarterfinal action.
Bryan Jacobs, Rian Jewett, Dominic Hirschoff and Luc Charlebois all rang the bell for Maple Hill and keeper Aiden Percey saved three to record the shutout.

Mechanicville 5 Johnstown 0: Five different Raiders found the range and the Mechanicville defense threw a shutout in Class B quarterfinal in Mechanicville on Saturday.
Jada Brown, Nevaeh D’Aloia, Hannah Garrone, Ryleigh Hopeck and Brynn Murphy all connected with scoring strikes and Raider keeper Savannah Bowie (9 saves), and the Mechanicville defenses combined for the shutout, sending the Raiders onto the semi’s where they’ll face Holy Names on Tuesday at Lansingburgh High School.

Cambridge-Salem 36 Voorheesville 14: The Indians piled up 400 yards in their ground attack with three players rushing for over 100 yards, leading Cambridge-Salem past the Blackbirds of Voorheesville in a Class C quarterfinal in Cambridge Saturday afternoon.
C-S backs Kaedin Ogilvie, 138 yards and a touchdown, Gabe Scambettera 114 yards and a TD, and Hunter Day with 110 yards and a score fueled the Indians offense against a game Voorheesville squad.
After a Blackbird touchdown early in the third made it a one-score game at 22-14, Ogilvie scored on a 55-yard tote, and C-S quarterback Jacob Ruggles added a 3-yard touchdown run in the final frame to close out the “W”.
With the win #2 Cambridge-Salem moves to the semifinal round and will host the seventh-seeded Bengals of Tamarac next Saturday at 1p.m.
Hoosic Valley 46 Cairo-Durham 0: The Valley scored 26 first quarter points and cruised to their first victory of the year in a crossover game on Saturday in Schaghticoke.
Indians quarterback Gavin Giordano threw touchdown passes to Ethan Caiazza and Joe Leichenauer, and ran for another score to lead the Valley.
Connor Wilson added a pair of rushing scores and Nick Santiago capped the Valley onslaught with a 69-yard touchdown run in the final frame.
