Down four with :42 remaining Basset buried a triple to pull the Valley to within one at 52-51.  Cambridge missed the front end of a one and one and on the ensuing possession the Indians freshman Logan Reilly, on a post isolation, hit a turnaround 5-footer giving Hoosic Valley the 53-52 lead with :09 left.

Cambridge rushed the ball up the floor but an Epler trey was off the mark as time expired.

Both squads shot it well from deep, Cambridge connecting nine times, and the Valley bottoming 10 with Bassett drilling five.
