Congratulations to Mechanicville girls basketball player Charli Goverski on being named the Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.
On Tuesday night in a non-league loss to Cobleskill, Charli scored a game-high 20 points including her 1000th career point in front of the home crowd in Mechanicville.
One night later the senior guard dropped 18 points in the Red Raiders 48-12 league win over the visiting Panthers from Hoosick Falls.
