The Witches built a 36-19 lead by halftime and went on to post the comfortable road victory over Tamarac Thursday night in Clum’s Corners. Greenwich’s “Big Three” of Brophy, Niesz and Rojas combined for 66 points in the win.

Cambridge held their hosts to single numbers in three of the four periods and dialed up the long ball offensively, connecting 11 times from deep in notching their eighth win in as many outings.

Leading by 10 after the first period, Tamarac used a 22-5 second quarter to take control, on their way to the easy “W” over the Witches in Greenwich on Thursday. With the win Tamarac improves to a gaudy 9-2 on the season.

Spa Catholic 53 Hoosic Valley 52

Leading Scorers: Saints – Hayden Day 24 Robbie Barile 17 Valley – Logan Reilly 21 Isiah Eckler 16

Leading 42-41 entering the final frame, the Saints converted on 5 of 6 free throws in the quarter to outlast the Valley in Saratoga on Thursday. Spa Catholic moves to 6-9 with the win, while Hoosic Valley, with the loss, slips to 7-5 on the season.
