Key Stat:  Greenwich outscored Stillwater 30-0 in the first.

Take Away:  The Witches put five players in doubles, as they cruised to the one-sided decision in Greenwich Tuesday night.

 

Hoosic Valley 27  Saratoga Catholic 23

Leading Scorers:  Valley – Sophia Squires 10     Saints – Alison Motier 11

Key Stat:  Neither team managed a double figure scoring quarter.

Take Away:  The Valley built an eight point halftime cushion at 16-8, and hung on for the win, on a night where defense took center stage in Schaghticoke.

 

Tamarac 82  Waterford 25

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – M. Faraj 27   S. Phillips 18   A. Yetto 15   R. Dzembo 15     Fordians – Imani Bloomfield 8

Key Stat:  The Bengals won every quarter, holding Waterford to single numbers in all four frames.

Take Away:  Tamarac ran out to a 28-7 lead after the first eight minutes, and rolled to the road “W”. 

 

Mechanicville 61  Berlin/New Lebanon 29

Leading Scorers:  Red Raiders – Chloe Goverski 18   Allie Kenyon 14   Jillian Germain 10

Key Stat: The Raiders connected on 30, two-point goals in a game where the teams combined for one made free throw, and one 3-pointer.  

The Raiders put three players in doubles and used a 20-8 second quarter to take control.

 

Emma Willard 60  Hoosick Falls 38

Leading Scorers:  Jesters – Emma Shields 16   Audrey Shields 15   Charlotte Lucarelli 10     Falls – Amber MacNeil 13   Marley McLellan 10

Key Stat:  The Jesters won every period, highlighted by a 21-11 advantage in the first.

Take Away:  Emma Willard rode the first period cushion to the home win, gradually pulling away behind three double figure scorers and a solid defensive effort.
