Leading Scorers:  Red Raiders – Colin Richardson 19    Joeseph Devito 14    Tyler Eiseman 13    Cruz Goverski 10       Saints – Robbie Bolen 23    Mark Hmura 15

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held a 12-3 advantage in made free throws.

Take Away:  The Raiders built a cushion over the middle two frames, outscoring the Saints 37-24.  Mechanicville depth of scoring was on display with four Raiders reaching double figures in the win, Mechanicville’s 14th in 15 outings.

 

Tamarac 75   Hoosic Valley 52

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Zachary Rice 28    Joey Poulin 18    James Blake 14      Valley- Isaiah Eckler 17    Logan Reilly 17    Tyler Eddy 11

Key Stat: Tamarac jumped on top early with a 23-9 first period.

Take Away:  The Bengals built the early cushion and after an even second quarter continued to extend their lead after the break, notching the home “W”, and staying unbeaten in Wasaren play.

 

Stillwater 38   Hoosick Falls 36

Leading Scorers:  Warriors – Jaxson Mueller 14      Panthers – Jake Sparks 16

Key Stat:  An 11-5 final frame for Stillwater proved to be the difference.

Take Away:  In a defensive battle Stillwater trailed 31-27 heading into the final eight minutes, where the Warriors did just enough to earn the road win and improve to 14-2 on the year. 

 

Berlin/New Lebanon 55   Cambridge 45

Leading Scorers:  Mountaineers – Chris Shorter 14    Peyton Labonte 12    Jesse Francouer 11    Mason Stalker 10       Cambridge – Dillion Hughes 13    Isaac Coleman 12 

Key Stat:  Berlin/New Lebanon drilled 10 triples on the night.

Take Away:  It was Senior Night for the Mountaineers, and they used a 40-point second half and the long ball, to notch their first victory of the season.   

 

Greenwich 66   Waterford 45

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Deontae Bennet 28     Jesse Kuzmich 10      Fordians – Lucas Cassin 21

Key Stat:  A 20-7 second frame for Greenwich gave them control.

Take Away:  Trailing at the end of the first period, the Witches won each of the remaining periods in pulling away for the comfortable, home victory over Waterford.

 

Girls

Greenwich 70   Waterford 26

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 20    Adrianna Rojas 15      Fordians – Carly Cordts 6

Key Stat:  A 23-2 first period for Greenwich set the tone.

Take Away:  The Witches put 10 players in the scoring column in running their season mark to 15-0.

 

Tamarac 51   Hoosic Valley 20

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Myanna Faraj 19    Sidney Phillips 18      Valley – Abbey Peckham 15

Key Stat:  Tamarac held the Valley to single numbers in every quarter.

Take Away:  The Bengals won every period and steadily pulled away for the road victory in Schaghticoke.
