Take Away:  Greenwich ripped 22 hits in rolling over the Mountaineers, moving to 12-3 in league play.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley grabbed a 2-0 lead early, but the Bengals scored 10 runs over the middle three frames to earn the come-from-behind “W” in Schaghticoke.

Take Away:  Freshman Carson Glover delivered Stephen Allen with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth in a game that featured dominant outings from Sparks and Brown.  

 

Softball

Hitting Stars:  Warriors – Toleman 3-4, 3 RBI’s     Morris 4-4, 2 RBI’s     Salecker 3-4

Take Away:  Stillwater banged out 18 hits, and scored in each of the first five frames in the non-league victory over the Scotties.

  

Emma Willard 14   Waterford 7

WP:  Sam McEntee                    LP:  Abby Barna 

Hitting Stars:  SAm McEntee 4-4, 2B, HR, 6 RBI’s     Elle Kellogg 3B        Fordians – Natalie Rich 2B

Take Away:  McEntee enjoyed a big day at the plate and from the circle in leading the Jesters past Waterford.

Take Away:  Mullen spins the no-no, as Greenwich cruises, moving to 10-1 in Wasaren play.
