Key Stat:  The Valley made more free throws than Crane attempted converting on 11 of 20, while Crane was 4 of 7 from the stripe.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley trailed 31-25 at the break, took a one-point lead after three and closed things out over the final eight minutes to win the Championship of the Maple Hill Hoopfest on Friday night.  The Indians put three players in double figures, drilled six triples in the contest and placed two players on the all-tourney team with Isaiah Eckler and Logan Reilly, MVP of the tournament, being selected.  With the win the Valley moves to 6-0 on the year and will return to action on Tuesday night when they’ll pay a visit to the Fordians of Waterford.

Key Stat:  Schuylerville held a 6-2 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  In a close game throughout Schuylerville took a 52-50 lead into the final frame and held on for the home victory over the Witches.

Key Stat:  Greenwich opened with a 27-4 first period.

Take Away:  The Witches continue to roll, improving to 6-0 this season, and over that span this 28-point margin of victory is the closest game they’ve had.

Key Stat:  Hoosic Valley shutout the Burgh in the first quarter.
