Key Stat:  Cambridge held the Tigers to single numbers in the final three periods. 

Take Away:  Trailing 22-9 after the first frame, Cambridge chipped away over the middle two quarters then used a 16-5 advantage in the last eight minutes to post the come-from-behind victory over Class A Hudson Falls.  

 

Waterford 43   Berlin/New Lebanon 18

Leading Scorers:  Fordians – Rachel McOmber 13        Maddy Atwood 12        Piper Morris 10               Mountaineers – Lilly Gardell 6

Key Stat:  Waterford jumped out to a 14-0, first period lead. 

Take Away:  The Fordains started fast, building a 25-3 halftime advantage and cruised to the road “W” over the Mountaineers.  

 

Fair Haven 66   Hoosic Valley 56

Leading Scorers:  Slaters – Sawyer Ramey 22        Joe Buxton 20        Sam Barber 17 3 3’s           Valley – Isaiah Eckler 16 4 3’s       Logan Reilly 13

Key Stat:  Fair Haven outscored the Valley 37-14 after the break.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley held a 32-29 lead at the half, but Fair Haven responded after intermission taking the lead in the third and closing the game out with a 21-14 fourth frame to claim the win in a game played at the Washington Avenue Armory on Saturday.  The contest saw the Indians hold a 12-6 advantage in made threes, while the Slaters held a 19-7 cushion in two-point goals.  With the win Fair Haven, the #2 ranked Division II school in Vermont, remains unbeaten at 13-0 while the Valley, the #6 ranked Class C school in New York, moves to 16-2 on the year.
