Key Stat:  The Witches jumped out to a 28-5 lead after the first.

Take Away:  Greenwich puts three in doubles and cruises in their Class CC quarterfinal on a night where Adrianna Rojas joins the 1000 career points club.  Next up for top-seeded Greenwich is a semifinal run with #5 Voorheesville on Friday night at 8:30 in Averill Park.

 

Cambridge 62   Hadley Luzerne 42

Key Stat:  Cambridge outscored the Eagles 39-17 after the break.

Take Away:  Trailing 25-23 at the half, Cambridge took the lead with a 17-6 third frame and closed things out with a dominant fourth period to notch the Class C quarterfinal “W”.  Cambridge advances to play #1 Duanesburg in the semi’s on Friday at 5:30 in Averill Park.

Leading Scorers:  Duanesburg – Alison O’Hanlon 25 3 3’s       Alex Moses 22 3 3’s      Hannah Mulhern 14           Fordians – Maddy Atwood 17

Key Stat:  Duanesburg held a 7-2 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  The top-seeded Eagles built a 44-13 halftime lead and cruised to the quarterfinal victory in Class C.  Duanesburg will take on #4 Cambridge in a semifinal matchup on Friday at 5:30 in Averill Park.  

 

Whitehall 53   Hoosic Valley 30

Leading Scorers:  Railroaders – Madison Gould 17      Samantha Howland 16             Valley – Jacquelyn Carlo 14

Key Stat:  Whitehall held the Indians to 11 first half points.

Take Away:  Whitehall took control with a strong first half and secured the quarterfinal win in Class C.  The Railroaders move on the face Warrensburg in the semi’s on Friday at Averill Park at 4 p.m.

Leading Scorers:  Tomahawks – Emily Dingham 18      Whitney Cameron 17       Caitlyn Crossman 12           Panthers – Tatum Hickey 12 4 3’s 

Key Stat:  Corinth held the Falls to single numbers in every quarter.

Take Away:  The Tomahawks post the comfortable quarterfinal “W” and advance to a semifinal get-together with Mayfield on Friday at 7 p.m. in Averill Park.

Key Stat:  Tamarac ran out to a 28-9 advantage after the first eight minutes.

Take Away: The second seeded Bengals put four players in doubles and cruised to the opening round win in Class B.  Tamarac will face #7 Schuylerville on Saturday at 2:30 in Ballston Spa in a quarterfinal matchup.

Leading Scorers:  Black Horses – Lukas Sherman 25       Griffin Brophy 11       Ollie Balduc 10         Red Raiders – Colin Richarson 15

Key Stat:  Schuylerville took the lead with a 24-13 third period.  

Take Away:  Trailing 26-20 at the break, Schuylerville used a big third frame to gain the lead and held off the Raiders for the opening round victory in Class B.  #7 Schuylerville advances to a Saturday quarterfinal with #2 Tamarac in Averill Park.
