Take Away: Trailing 3-1 late, the Saints added a run in the sixth and plated three in the top of the seventh, and Dejnozka closed the door in the bottom of the frame sending Spa Catholic to the Class C state final on Saturday at Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton. Dejnozka entered the game after a three-hour rain delay and the left-hander scattered a pair of hits over five and a third innings while fanning 10 in the semifinal “W”.

The Saints (22-3) will look to make it back-to-back state titles on Saturday afternoon, facing Section V champion Kendall.
