Bengals Roar Past Gloversville

Tamarac 9 Gloversville 1

Tamarac took control with four, first-half goals and added five more after the break in posting the one-sided decision over Gloversville on Sunday.

Gabe Gearwar started the scoring parade with an unassisted tally early in the half and moments later Joel Kizza split the posts for the 2-0 advantage.

A Keegan Blakesley finish off a nice find from Matthew Seyffer extended the lead to 3-0 and Jake Smith wrapped the first-half assault with a scoring strike off a Kizza feed.

After the break Travis Klein joined the party finding the range from the left wing off a Gearwar look, then Liam May intercepted a Gloversville clear and rang the bell for the sixth Tamarac score.

Evan Glynn’s header off a Smith corner was “lucky seven”, before Blakesley added his second goal of the match, and rounding out the onslaught was Tim Grigg who took a Glynn feed and found the back of the net from 25 yards out.

Tamarac keeper Sebastian Van Sluyters saved three shots in the Bengal victory.

Next up for Tamarac is a Thursday match at Hoosick Falls to open Wasaren play.
