In a game tied 6-6 with 4:00 left in the first period, S/SC scored 32 unanswered the rest of the way to post the dominant 38-6 decision over LG/W Friday night under the lights in Stillwater.

S/SC broke on top at the 10:00 mark of the first on a two-yard TD run by Luke Dejnozka for the 6-0 lead.

LG/W answered on their next possession, knotting things at 6-6 when Wolverine quarterback JJ Long connected on an 8-yard scoring strike to Alyas Kennedy.

From there, S/SC steadily pulled away.

A one-yard touchdown run by David Kramek and the two-point conversion gave Stillwater/Spa Catholic a 14-6 advantage with 2:53 left in the period.

S/SC took control late in the second quarter with a pair of touchdowns, the first a two-yard scoring run by Mason Straight and the conversion, and the second on a 37-yard pass and catch for points from Kramek to Dejnozka giving the home squad a 30-6 lead at the break.

In the third frame Kramek scored the game’s final points, returning a fumble 32 yards for six.

Dejnozka led the S/SC ground attack with 167 yards on 16 carries with a rushing and receiving score while Straight adding 52 yards on seven totes and a touchdown.

Kramek finished the night 3-5 for 45 yards with offensive touchdowns through the air and on the ground, along with a fumble recovery and return for points.
