Holding a 12-8 lead at the break, HF/Tam scored three second-half touchdowns to pull away from the Cannoneers for the road “W” Thursday night in Watervliet.
HF/T scored the first 12 points of the game on a 29-yard interception return for six, and an Owen Hart two-yard touchdown run before Watervliet got on the board just before halftime on a Kianthony Santiago four-yard TD tote and with the two-point conversion the home squad trailed 12-8.
But after intermission the visitors hung three unanswered touchdowns starting with third period scores by Hart on a 3-yard run and August Lee on a 15-yard romp for six.
Hart wrapped the scoring in the fourth frame, finding Eddie Miller on a 27-yard touchdown strike as HF/Tam closed things out to even their season mark at 2-2.

After a back and forth first half that ended tied at 2-2, the Valley shut down the Waterford attack the rest of the way while ringing the bell twice in the second half to earn the home “W” in Schaghticoke on Tuesday.
Hannah Coffin put the home squad on the board just seven minutes in when she cashed on an arching shot from 30 yards out for the 1-0 lead.
Waterford quickly responded on a Mia O’Brien tally, knotting things at 1-1.
The Valley regained the lead with 12:00 left in the half on Coffin’s second strike of the match, but the Fordians answered when Riley Noto connected just before intermission sending the teams into the break knotted at 2-2.

In a Saturday afternoon matchup between Class D rivals, both ranked in the top 10 in the state, Greenwich put together a pair of short, scoring drives in the fourth quarter to come away with the well-earned “W” over Cambridge/Salem.
The home squad led through much of the game after scoring on the opening drive, a seven play, 58-yard march capped by an 11-yard Abe Cushing touchdown run, giving the Tigers a 7-0 lead.
The Witches also put points on the board on their opening possession culminating with a 1-yard quarterback sneak by Ryan Ingber but missed the point after and trailed 7-6.
That score stood until 10:43 in the final period when Greenwich, taking over on the Cambridge/Salem 48-yard line, needed just four plays to gain the lead on a 26-yard scoring strike from Ingber to Wyatt Jamieson and with the two-point conversion the visitors led 14-7.
C/S turned the ball over on downs on their next series with Greenwich taking over on the C/S 38-yard line. Greenwich drove the field and put the game away on a Will Weber 5-yard scoring run with 3:15 remaining.
Ingber finished with 57 rushing yards and 55 passing yards on 3 of 6 attempts.
Weber led the Witches ground game gaining 99 yards on 24 carries.

Mechanicville quarterback Stephen Doty threw for 133 yards on 12 of 20 including a 21-yard scoring strike to Michael Pugliese in the final period.
Carson Beattie led the Mechanicville receivers with seven catches for 71 yards, and Jacob Williams led the ground game with 41 yards on seven carries.
Fonda stays unbeaten at 3-0 with the win while Mechanicville slips to 1-2 with the loss.
Cobleskill 27 Hoosick Falls/Tamarac 26 OT
HF/Tam sent the game into overtime with a fourth quarter score and scored the first touchdown in the extra session before Cobleskill tied the game on a three-yard pass play and won it with the point after, under the lights at Hoosick Falls on Friday.
The two teams played an even first stanza with HF/Tam scoring on a 13-yard touchdown connection from Jake Sparks to Trent Benedict, before Cobleskill answered with an 84-yard kickoff return to knot things at 6-6.
After a scoreless second period, HF/Tam gained the lead on an Owen Hart one-yard TD run and with the point after the home squad led 13-6.
The visitors responded, running back their second kickoff of the game for points, this one from 73 yards and with the PAT, tied the game at 13-13.
Cobleskill edged in front on a 3-yard touchdown run, taking a 20-13 advantage into the fourth frame.
Hf/Tam sent the game into overtime when Hart ran it in from five yards out and with the extra point the teams entered the extra session.
HF/Tam used a nine-yard scoring run to take the lead but left the door open with a missed extra point attempt and Cobleskill took advantage scoring on a short pass and converting the point after for the road win.

Five different Valley players rang the bell in the shutout victory over Cambridge in Schaghticoke on Friday.
Just five minutes in, the home squad tallied when Sophia Akin finished a Hannah Coffin find and the Valley was just starting, connecting three more times before intermission.
Ashleigh Herrington scored off a Kaylee Smith feed, Audrey Wiley was next with an unassisted strike, and Coffin wrapped the first half finding the net off a Herrington helper.
The final goal in the match came on a Sammy Gratton cross that Laura Rice put away to cap the scoring.

After intermission sophomore Grace Eastman extended the Panthers lead to 3-0, scoring from in close off a Kasulinous feed.
