Greenwich Tops Ti, Advances To Final Four
Greenwich scored in four of the first five innings, played error-free baseball, and had their ace Lukas Whitehouse on the hill on Saturday. That combination equaled a 5-2 victory over Ticonderoga in a Class C regional final at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam advancing the Witches to next weekend’s state final four. Continue reading

Valley Moves On, Greenwich Falls
The remaining two Wasaren softball squads took the field on Tuesday in Section II semifinals contests and the league teams came away with a split. In Class C Greenwich’s season ended in a 7-2 loss to Maple Hill, while in the B’s Hoosic Valley bested top seeded Cohoes 4-2 advancing to the championship game on Friday. Continue reading
