Myles Smith 43, Allison Hathaway 48, Dylan Callahan 49, and Ethan Yonconsih 53 all earned points for the Panthers with match wins.

Spa Catholic’s Aiden Law scored off a direct kick with 6:00 left in the first half, giving the Saints the 1-0 halftime advantage .

Late in the second half, Stillwater evened things, when Harry Rubenstein cleaned up a loose ball, and from there both defensive units took control.

Tamarac 5 Cambridge 2: Abby Buckley connected for a hat trick in leading the Bengals to the road win over Cambridge.

The first half saw three lead changes, Tamarac breaking on top when Buckley connected in the 6th minute.

Cambridge quickly answered when Maize Steele rang the bell in the 7th minute and the home squad took the lead when Steele, off a Maya Danaher find, split the posts for the 2-1 advantage at the 13:00 mark.

Buckley tied the match in the 29th minute with her second goal off a look from Raegan Sorel and minutes later Tamarac’s Taylor Smith gave the Bengals the lead finishing off a Buckley find.

After intermission Buckley connected for her third goal of the match, and Shannon Ryan capped the scoring with a strike in the 59th minute.

Mechanicville 15 Spa Catholic 2: It was Senior Night in Mechanicville on Monday with special recognition and all the trimmings given to the players of the 2022 class. But on the turf it was business as usual, with the Red Raiders posting yet another dominant “W”, rolling to a 15-2 decision over the Saints.

Senior Seth Johnson triggered the scoring parade driving home a penalty kick just two minutes in, and by night’s end nine Raiders had rung the bell.

Wyquie Aguda and Colin McNutt both struck for hat tricks, Andrew Kraszewski and Luke Micklas added two goals a piece , while Jake Eiseman, Ryan Grimmick, Gordan Jenney, Tom Hickey and Seth Johnson all connected one time for Mechanicville.

Waterford 3 Greenwich 0: After a scoreless first half of play, the Fordians connected three times after the break to notch the road victory over the Witches.

The Fordians got on the board in the 54th minute when Jarron Maquire found Josh Catanzarita, who finished for the 1-0 lead.

Minutes later Waterford’s Tristan Carutasu made a great hustle play and fed Catanzarita for his second tally of the match.

The Fordians wrapped up the scoring in the 71st minute off a find and finish, Catanzarita to Benji Mills, and Waterford closed out their 6th win in 8 outings this season.

In the opening minute Logan Reilly finished a corner kick from Tyler Eddy and the Indians jumped out to the 1-0 advantage.

In the third minute an Eddy cross found Tom Rice, who’s header beat the Panther keeper for the 2-0 cushion.

Hoosic Valley built a 4-1 lead by halftime and after the break closed things out for the comfortable win.

Six Valley players split the posts for goals with Eddy scoring a pair, and Reilly, Rice, Tyler Cavert, Jack Wiley and Isiah Eckler all adding scoring strikes for the Indians .

Greenwich 49 Cambridge-Salem 0: Greenwich quarterback Jesse Kuzmich threw for three touchdowns, ran for another, and returned an interception for one more, in leading the Witches past Cambridge-Salem on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge.

Greenwich led 14-0 after the first frame on a Matt Colin 4-yard scoring run and a 56-yard touchdown scamper by Kuzmich.

In the second period Greenwich used it’s air attack for a pair of scores, with Kuzmich finding Tyler Day with a 76-yard scoring strike, and Aiden McPhail on a 12-yard connection for six, as the Witches took a 28-0 lead at the break.

In the third quarter Kuzmich hooked up with Deontae Bennett for an 11-yard TD pass, and the Witches capped their scoring in the final period with a Colin Hughes 11-yard touchdown run, and a 67-yard interception return by Kuzmich.

The hosts built a 2-0 halftime advantage on the strength of two Josh Cantanzarita tallies, the second coming off a corner kick.

After the break, the Saints got on the board when Aiden Law cleaned up a loose ball trimming the lead to 2-1.

The Fordians took control over the next two minutes with a scoring strike from Matt Soden and then a Schyler Tostes tally, off a beautiful cross from Soden, for the 4-1 cushion.

Later in the half Benji Mills found the range from 25 yards out and finally it was Mason Soto finding the back of the net to cap the scoring for Waterford.

Sparks threw for both TD’s in the first period, connecting twice with Josh Colegrove on strikes of 46 and 54 yards, giving Tam/HF a 14-0 advantage at the end of the period.

In the second frame the Wildcat QB scored the first of his two touchdown runs, this one a 14 yard tote, and he followed with a 53 yard interception return for points and HF/Tam took a 26-7 lead into the break.

In the third quarter it was Sparks again, this time scoring on a 3-yard carry, and Dillion Grogan capped the night for Tam/HF with a two-yard touchdown run.

The Wildcats rushed for 173 yards in the game, while Sparks threw for 101 yards and the two scores.

Stillwater 53 Cohoes 8: Warrior quarterback Colby Paffen threw four touchdown passes, and CJ McNeil ran for three scores in the Stillwater win over Cohoes.

Mechanicville 9 Waterford 1: The Red Raiders found themselves in unfamiliar territory in their match with Waterford on Tuesday night. When the Fordians Schuyler Tostes finished off a loose ball in the box just two minutes into the game, Mechanicville trailed for the first time since 2019.

It was short lived.

Five minutes later the Raiders Andrew Kraszewski connected off a free kick, and seconds later Kraszewski tallied again, giving the Raiders a lead that ballooned into the one-sided decision .
