Jimmer Fredette has picked up right where he left off in his return to the NBA-D league. After a 10-day stint with the New York Knicks, Jimmer returned to the Westchester Knicks a week ago and has continued to do what he’s best known for, score the basketball.
Over the past two contests Jimmer has tallied 47 points shooting 43% from the floor, 67% from deep and 89% from the free throw line. He’s handed out 11 assists and pulled down seven rebounds for the Knicks who split the two games after posting a 106 – 99 win last night over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
The Westchester Knicks are currently 24-18 on the year, trailing the first place Maine Red Claws by three games in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
It’s a credit to the Glens Falls native that he continues to produce since coming back from his time spent with the NBA Knicks. No doubt disappointed from receiving just five minutes of playing time, during his 10-day contract with New York, Jimmer continues to show why he’s arguably the best scorer in the D-League, while waiting for another opportunity in the Association.
