Fredette’s Clutch Three Propel’s Westchester

On Friday night Jimmer Fredette started slowly, but got it going late including a catch and shoot triple with 00:19.6 left giving the Westchester Knicks the lead and ultimately the 104-101 victory over the Delaware 87’ers.

The Glens Falls native had an uncharacteristic five turnovers on the night, with just nine points over the first 40 minutes of play as the Knicks trailed by double figures.  But over the final 6:38 Jimmer scored 10 points including his clutch three as Westchester secured the come-from-behind victory.

On the night Fredette was 6 of 12 from the floor including 4 of 5 from deep, to go with five rebounds and seven assists for the play-off bound Westchester squad.

Tonight the Knicks will wrap up their regular season hosting the Maine Red Claws in a 5 p.m. run, before welcoming the Sioux Falls Skyforce next Tuesday in Westchester’s first ever post season contest.
