Girls Soccer; Warriors Win Again

Stillwater 4   Hoosic Valley 0:  In a game that was scoreless after one half of play the Warriors exploded with four second half goals to post the win over Hoosic Valley.

Brooke Pickett scored a second half hat trick, and Devon Wagner added a single goal for Stillwater who improves to 7-0, 9-0 on the season.

Danika Svendsen with 12 saves picked up her fifth shutout of the year, while her counterpart Lauren Paul finished with 22 saves for the Valley.

 

Tamarac 3   Greenwich 0:  Sydney Moss, Katie Hudspath, and Camille Gardner all found the back the net for the Bengals in the comfortable win over Greenwich.

Sarah Gibbs needed just one save in posting the shutout for 7-1-1 Tamarac, while Greenwich keeper Courtney Fraher saved 13 shots for the Witches.

 

Cambridge 9   Waterford 1:  The Indians scored five first half goals, and four more after intermission in their dominant win over Waterford.

Miranda Seacord found the range three times, Grace Snyder and Taylor Stallmer twice, and Vanessa Evans and Laura Vellucci added single strikes for the Indians who improve to 3-4, 4-4 with the win.

 

Mechanicville 5   Hoosick Falls 1:  Mackenzie Bowie with a hat trick and two assists led the Red Raiders past the Panthers.

Michalena DePasquale and Brynn Murphy added single goals, and keeper Lauren Claeys saved 10 shots for the 5-1-1 Mechanicville squad.

Darian Morgan scored a second half goal for the Falls, and Sydney Miller saved 12 for the Panthers who drop to 4-4 with the loss.
