Congratulations to Mechanicville’s Mackenzie Bowie and Stillwater’s Brooke Pickett for being named Wasaren Sportsnet Players of the Week.

The outstanding pair of soccer players have nearly identical stats over the last 10 days of play.

Bowie over her last four games has scored seven goals with two assists including a three goals two assist game against Hoosic Valley, and a hat trick versus Waterford.

Pickett has also scored seven goals over her last four contests and added a pair of assists as well. Her run includes a three goal, two assist outing versus Greenwich, and a hat trick against Waterford.

On the season Mackenzie has scored 29 goals while Brooke has scored 28.

They will meet on the field tomorrow night when Stillwater visits Mechanicville in the “Pink Out” game with the Wasaren title on the line.
