In a matchup of the first and last place squads in the Wasaren, home standing Hoosick Falls gave the visitors from Waterford little opportunity to pull the upset, jumping out to a 22-11 lead after one and increasing that cushion to 44-23 at the half on their way to a 75-53 “W”.
Nine players scored including four in double figures for the Falls as they notched their 12th straight league, this one as most have been, by a wide margin. Evan McCart and Guy Milliman scored 15 points each, and Alex Haynes with 13 points, and Aaron Tomczak with 10 points led the potent Falls attack.
Hoosick Falls improves to 12-0, 13-3 with the win and with four games left has a chance to run the table in league play, no small task in the always competitive Wasaren.
Kyle Fairclough with 24 points and Joey Panetta with 12 points paced Waterford who fall to 1-11, 3-12 on the year.
