Cambridge 50  Whitehall 0: Just another day at the office for the Indians of Cambridge although Saturday’s opponent was another 3-0 squad in Whitehall.  Didn’t matter.

The Indians ran for 297 yards and 526 yards of total offense on one side of the football, and defensively held the Railroaders to just 30 total yards.

Cambridge quarterback Zack Rowland threw four touchdown passes and 229 yards to lead the onslaught.  Jonas Butz ran for 122 yards including a 76-yard jaunt and was on the receiving end for two TD strikes from Rowland.

Tommy English joined the Cambridge parade to the end zone on runs of 43 and 2 yards and this one was never in doubt as the Indians led 27-0 at the quarter and 41-0 at halftime on the way to their fourth win in as many outings.

Hoosick Falls 30  Coxsackie-Athens 15:  Drew Hoag ran for three touchdowns to lead the Panthers past Coxsackie.

The Falls held a 21-7 halftime lead and put the game away after the break on a Sam Richard to Nick Giordano 48-yard scoring strike, quickly followed by Hoag’s third touchdown of the contest.

With the win Hoosick Falls improves to 3-1 and find themselves in the thick of things in the tough Class C North.
