Mechanicville 6  Ichabod Crane 0:  The Red Raiders scored three goals before the break to take control early in their shutout victory over Ichabod Crane.

Jada Brown with a goal and two assists led the Raider attack that saw six different players ring the bell.  Red Raider keeper Savannah Bowie earned the shutout with 8 saves for Mechanicville.

Catskill 2  Tamarac 1:  Maci Mosher’s second half strike was the difference as Catskill got past the Bengals of Tamarac in Class B opening round action.

Goals from Tamarac’s Isabella Bisciglia and Catskill’s Kaylee Glastetter had knotted the game at 1-1 at the half, setting up Mosher’s game winner after the break.

Tamarac 1  Chatham 0:  It took 105 minutes to decide this one and it went the Bengals way when Jack Mulligan, off a direct kick from Chase Ali found the back of the net giving Tamarac the double overtime victory.

Tamarac keeper Tyler Petersen saved 12 in the win for the Bengals.

Chatham 5  Spa Catholic 1:  Chatham opened up a game that was tied at 1-1 at the half scoring four times after the break to notch the “W” over the Saints.

Curtis Buchan and Patrick Devine with a pair of goals each led Chatham in this Class CC opening round win.

Corinth 2  Hoosick Falls 1:  The Tomahawks used a pair of Michael Wickham strikes to get past the Panthers in Class CC action.

David Everard found the range with a second half goal for the Panthers.
