The Cambridge girls took to the road over the weekend to play in the Delaware Academy Tip-Off Tournament and they made their return trip home with the championship hardware.
In game one they bested Cooperstown 61-53, outscoring Cooperstown 29-21over the second half in a game that was deadlocked at the break.
Sophie Phillips scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Indians while Grace Snyder added 10 points and Lilly Phillips nine for Cambridge.
In game two the Indians used a 20-9 fourth quarter to pull away from Delaware Academy and claim the tournament title.
Sophie Phillips, Helen Mooney and Victoria Dupuis all netted 10 points in the victory as Cambridge run’s it’s early season mark to 3-0 with the “W”.
