A packed Tuesday night in the Wasaren with a full slate for the boys and a pair of girls runs as well with schools trying to navigate around the pending snowstorm.

Boys

Stillwater 62  Greenwich 59

Leading Scorers:  Warriors – Cooper Monast 19      Brian McNeil 15     Scott Travis 10     Witches – Carson Mosher 20     John Walsh 14

Key Points:  Greenwich knocked back 12 triples on the night but was just 3 of 7 from the foul line, where the Warriors converted on 12 of 19 in notching the close home “W”.

 

Hoosick Falls 66  Mechanicville 50

Leading Scorers:  Falls – Jon Kempf 27     Evan McCart 13     Guy Milliman 12       Red Raiders – Cullen Malone 11     Luciano D’Ambro 10

Key Points:  After an even first period the  visiting Panthers put 33 points on the board in the second frame to take control, on their way to the comfortable win over Mechanicville.

 

Berlin 78  Waterford 59

Leading Scorers:  Mountaineers – Joshua Hendricks 35     Ryan Willis 19     Tyler Kellar 14 Fordians – Michael Talavera 20     Joe Panetta 16

Key Points:  Tied at 15 through one period of play, Berlin won each of the final three quarters and led by Hendricks’ 35 point effort, posted the win over the visitors from Waterford.

 

Cambridge 42  Saratoga Catholic 39

Leading Scorers:  Indians – Brenden Holcomb 17      Saints – Terel Tillman 13     Aiden Dagastino 11

Key Points:  In a low scoring affair a 10-5 second period proved the difference as Cambridge handed the Saints just their second league defeat of the season.

 

Girls

Cambridge 59  Saratoga Catholic 46

Leading Scorers:  Indians – Lily Phillips 17     Helen Mooney 14     Fiona Mooney 11        Saints – Ani Crocker 19     Lauren Mahar 10

Key Points: Cambridge led 34-18 at the break and scored 23 points in the third to put this one away.

 

Stillwater  70  Berlin 17

Leading Scorers:  Warriors – Marley Mueller 13     Brooke Pickett 10     Amiya Jennings 10 Mountaineers – Megan Crandall 9

Key Points:  Stillwater jumped out to a 21-7 lead after one and cruised to the home victory over the Mountaineers.
