An 11 run first set the tone for the Valley romp.

In almost a blueprint of the first game, the Indians plate 11 in the first and limit the Mountaineers to a pair hits, Brown throwing the shutout in the nightcap.

Winning Pitcher:  Maggie Kelley  10 Hits  5 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Bengals – McKenna Ryan HR     Gianna Bucciero 2-3, 2B       Red Raiders – Makayla Nadler 2-4     Adriana Patenaude 2-4       Destiny Farr 2-3

Ryan led the game off with a solo shot and after Mechanicville tied things in the second, the Bengals pushed across a pair of runs in the third and held on for the win.

 

Saratoga Catholic 20  Waterford 2

Winning Pitcher:  Molly O’Reilly

Leading Hitters:  Saints – Ani Crocker 3-4, HR     Emy Murray 2-4, 2B, 3 RBI’s      Molly O’Reilly 2-3, 3B.RBI         Fordians – Jelieu 2-3, 2B, 3B

An 11 run second frame gave the Saints full control on their way to the easy road victory.

 

Cambridge 11  Stillwater 10

Winning Pitcher:  Miranda Seacord

Leading Hitters:  Indians – Victoria Dupuis HR, 2 RBI’s      Miranda Seacord 3 1B’s, RBI      Rhiannon Darling 2 1B’s, 2 RBI’s     Jordyn Griffith 2 1B’s, 2 RBI’s

Trailing 8-7 entering the seventh the Indians hung a four-spot on the board in the top of the inning, and then hung on for the “W”.

Winning Pitcher:  Christian O’Brien  3 2/3  no hits  6 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Witches – Carson Mosher 4-4, 2B, 3-run HR, 5 RBI’s     Cole Burgess 3-4, 2B, 3-run HR, 5 RBI’s     James Ostrowski 3-4, 2B, 2 RBI’s      John Walsh 2-4, 2B, 3 RBI’s

The Witches ripped 16 hits in five innings of work with Mosher and Burgess leading the way.

 

Saratoga Catholic 7  Waterford 5

Winning Pitcher:  Dylan Custer

Leading Hitters:  Saints – Jake Hart HR     Terel Tillman 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI’s      Dante Marin 2-4, RBI          Fordians – Jake Houle 2B, 3 RBI’s     Mike Castracani 2-3      Thomas Phelan 2-3

Hart’s homer tied things in the seventh and the Saints with two in the eighth earned the road win.

 

Cambridge 9  Stillwater 8

Winning Pitcher:  Nethanel Woodcock 5 IP  6 K’s

Leading Hitters:  Indians – Nate Genevick 2 1B’s, 3 RBI’s      Brenden Holcomb 1B, 2B, RBI      Patrick Robertson 2 1B’s, RBI         Warriors – Brody Peacock  2 1B’s, 2B

After Robertson singled and stole second, Holcomb delivered the game winner with two out in the top of the eighth for the Cambridge “W”.
