Girls Soccer


Stillwater 3  Mechanicville 3:  The Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 advantage at the half but the Red Raiders stormed back after the break with three goals to force the tie.

Brooke Pickett connected on two first half strikes, and added a third goal after intermission to lead the Stillwater attack.

Ryleigh Hopeck tallied a pair of second half goals for Mechanicville with Jada Brown’s goal, late in the half knotting the match at 3-3.


Tamarac 6  Hoosick Falls 1:  The Bengals exploded with four second half goals to break open a close game and notch the comfortable win over The Panthers.

Isabella Bisceglia scored with a pair of goals, and Sophie Champagne, Brean Eversten, Haley Honsinger and Shannon Ryan with single strikes paced Tamarac offensively.

Olivia Brownell connected on a first half score for the Falls.


Cambridge 6  Berlin 1:  Sydney Benson and Vanessa Evans with two goals each led the Indians past the Mountaineers of Berlin.

Ruth Nolan and Sophie Phillips added single goals for Cambridge, and Rachel Bortnick got Berlin on the board with a first half tally.


Greenwich 6  Saratoga Catholic 1:  The Witches ran out to a 4-1 halftime lead and coasted to the “W” over the Saints.

Ashley Gwin scored a hat trick and Faith Ingber added a pair of goals to pace the Greenwich attack.

Lauren Maher split the posts in the first half for the Spa Catholic goal.
