Mechanicville 10  Berlin 0:  The Red Raiders rang the bell five times in each half to post the shutout victory over the Mountaineers.

Jeff Luce scored four goals, three coming in the first 3:30 of the match to lead the Mechanicville assault.

Chris Ciccarelli added a pair of goals and Marcus Tobin, John Pingelski, Kevin Charette and Riley Duesler found the back of the net as well for the Raiders.

Zach White and Glenn Prarie combined to make four saves between the posts for Mechanicville who with the win moves to 11-0-1 on the year.

 

Stillwater 4  Hoosick Falls 0:  The Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 advantage before the break, and added two more scores after halftime to notch the shutout over the Panthers.

Issac Cutler finished a find from Scott Travis just :38 into the match giving Stillwater the 1-0 lead, and late in the half Jake Zdonick bended a corner kick into the net for the 2-0 Warrior cushion.

Grant Baker converted after the break on an unassisted tally, and the Stillwater squad wrapped the scoring when Baker found Jack Rubenstein for the finish late in the half.

Stillwater keeper Tim Buchal saved eight shots to earn the shutout for the 8-3, 10-3 Warrior squad.

 

Waterford 2  Cambridge 0:  In keeping with the shutout theme the Fordians tallied twice before the break and that proved more than enough to earn the decision over Cambridge.

Tyler Galarneau and Jason Cordts connected with goals to lead the Waterford offense and Bobby Valigorski with six saves recorded the shutout for the Fordians.

 

Tamarac 4  Greenwich 2:  Tamarac spotted Greenwich a 2-0 lead then came all the way back to post the road victory over the Witches.

Goals by Charlie Gartner and AJ Rymph in the first 16:00 of the match gave Greenwich the 2-0 advantage, but the Bengals answered with scoring strikes from Dylan Briccetti and Alex Bassey to knot things at the half.

Sixteen minutes after the break Max Ali connected for the 3-2 Tamarac lead and at the 24:00 mark it was Briccetti capping the scoring with his second goal of the afternoon giving Tamarac their seventh win in ten league outings.

 

Girls Soccer

Cambridge 7  Waterford 1:  Vanessa Evans scored a hat trick to lead the Indians past Waterford on Wednesday.

Sydney Benson, Lily Gates, Anna Headwell and Taylor Stallmer all added goals for Cambridge, while Annelise Rebel had the lone tally for the Fordians.
