Longtime head coach Duke Beck likes what he see’s in this years version of his Witches.

He’s been pleased thus far with his teams “Work ethic and depth” that will serve as cornerstones for the Greenwich squad.

Key returnees in Carson Mosher and John Walsh will provide leadership for the Witches who are coming off a 12-9 season just a year ago.

When asked about his team’s identity Beck responded with, “Defend every possession defensively and share the ball on offense.”

To be successful this year Beck continued, “Players must be unselfish and accountable to their team.  The rest will take care of itself.”

Hoosick Falls, Tamarac, and Stillwater along with his Greenwich squad Beck feels are the leading contenders for the league championship.

Greenwich gets the season underway in pursuit of that title this Thursday night in an away contest with the Eagles of Hadley Luzerne.
