The Hoosick Falls Panthers and head coach Ken Facin welcome back eight returning players from a solid 2017-18 season with hopes of taking the next step this year.

Among the returning veterans are Lilian Hickey, Logan Thayne and Faith Adamczenko who Facin will lean on to provide leadership for this seasons version of the Falls.

Thus far Facin notes, “The girls have been outstanding.  They are accepting their role and working hard to improve as players and teammates everyday.” 

Facin feels his Panthers will take on the identity of ” An aggressive, fast, smart and team-oriented” squad.

The Panther coach says in order to be successful they must, “Play hard, play smart and play together.  This group has played together for a long time and have a great team bond.”

As for top league contenders Facin points to Cambridge, Tamarac and Hoosic Valley along with his Panthers to fight for the championship.

With a deep and talented group of veteran players and a rich, winning tradition at the Falls the upcoming basketball season holds great promise for the Panthers.
