Tamarac 5 Berlin/New Lebanon 0: The Bengals took control with four, first half goals and cruised to the road win over the Mountaineers.

Abby Buckley scored a pair of goals and Vanessa Baldwin, Shannon Ryan and Taylor Smith all added single tallies to lead the Tamarac attack.

Bengal keeper Jenna Hunt saved four shots and combined with the Tamarac “D” for the clean sheet.

Waterford 4 Hoosick Falls 2: In a match played in Waterford on Monday the Fordians used a pair of goals in each half to get past the visitors from Hoosick Falls.

Sophia Belonga connected twice for scores and Cassidy McClement and Ellis Trubridge with single scoring strikes paced the Fordians offensvely.

Ana Salvesvold netted a goal in both halves to lead the Panthers.

Voorheesville 2 Mechanicville 2: In an even match throughout that was knotted 1-1 at the half, the Blackbirds and Raiders battled to a tie in Mechanicville on Monday.

Hailey Gleason and Cailin Johnson with a goal each led the Voorheesville attack, while Amy DiSiena and Ryleigh Hopeck with single tallies paced Mechanicville.

Greenwich 3 Cambridge 1: The Witches broke a 1-1 halftime deadlock with a pair of scores after the break to post the home victory over Cambridge.

A Faith Ingber tally gave the Witches a 1-0 lead early, before the Indians tied things on a Lexi Woodworth scoring strike sending the teams to intermission knotted at 1-1.

After the break Ingber’s second goal of the afternoon put the Witches ahead to stay with Ryan Skiff adding the final tally later in the half for Greenwich.

Football

Stillwater 28 Warrensburg 8: Caleb Dyer scored three touchdowns to lead Stillwater to the comfortable home “W” over Warrensburg.

Dyer rushed for 109 yards on 17 carries and scored on runs of 5 and 8 yards, along with returning a fumble recovery 25 yards for the scoring trifecta.

Warriors quarterback Tyler Paffin connected on 9 of 12 pass attempts for 128 yards and added a rushing touchdown for Stillwater who improves to 1-2 on the season.

Warrensburg’s points came when Zach Carpenter found Andrew Beadnell for a 4-yard touchdown strike, briefly giving the Burghers an 8-0 lead in the first frame.

Greenwich 35 Chatham 16: Greenwich’s Matthew Conlin rushed for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Witches road win over Chatham on Sunday.

Jesse Kuzmich ran for 101 yards, including a 15-yard TD scamper, and also found Jackson Vanderhoff on a 12-yard throw and catch for six.

Alex Curtis put the first points on the board for Greenwich with a 33-yard scoring jaunt in the first period.
