Mechanicville Rolls Over Berlin/New Lebanon

The Mechanicville boys soccer team headed into Thursday afternoon’s match with Berlin/New Lebanon, a perfect 7-0 on the season. In the seven wins the Raiders have averaged over nine goals per contest while defensively pitching five shutouts with just two goals allowed overall.

Thursday proved to be more of the same with Mechanicville scoring five times before the break, on their way to a 9-0 victory over the Mountaineers in New Lebanon.

Ryan Grimmick led the Red Raider scoring parade with a hat trick, with Wyqie Aguda adding a pair of goals, while Andrew Krazsewski, Colin McNutt, Nick Amodeo and T.J. Bisaillon all found the range with single scoring strikes.

Mechanicville keepers Glenn Prarie and Dylan Raucci combined for eight saves to earn, along with the Raider “D”, yet another shutout.

Mechanicville will next put it’s undefeated record on the line this Monday when they’ll play host to the Witches of Greenwich.
