Mechanicville 4 Greenwich 0: Andrew Kraszewski with two goals and Wyqie Aguda and TJ Bisaillon with single tallies led the Red Raiders to the shutout victory over Greenwich.

Raider keeper Glenn Prarie saved eight and combined with the Mechanicville “D” to post their eighth shutout in ten, undefeated outings for the Raiders.

Owen Keech turned back 25 shots between the posts for Greenwich.

Girls Soccer

Mechanicville 2 Waterford 1: Red Raiders Megan DiSiena and Maddie Hopeck both rang the bell, connecting for goals as Mechanicville slipped past the Fordians of Waterford on Tuesday.

Mackenzie Koniszewski with a second half tally provided the Waterford offense.

Raider keeper Dani Rubino saved 10 shots, while Maddy Atwood denied 12 shots for Waterford.

Golf

Mechanicville 5 Hoosic Valley 0: Anthony Fiacco fired the low round of 42 in leading the Raiders to the sweep of Hoosic Valley on Monday.

Joining Fiacco in the winner’s circle for Mechanicville were Joey Manzer, Devin Garland, RJ Roberts and Dylan Olivia who all posted individual match wins.

Greenwich 4 Mechanicville 1: Jake Owens carded the low round of 37, pacing the Witches to the comfortable win over Mechanicville on Tuesday.

Tyler Ziehm, Brad Brophy and Patrick McFee all earned points for the Witches, while the Raider’s Jack Salvadore won his match to prevent the shutout.
