Ravena’s Aiden Lockner ran for three touchdowns, leading the Indians to a 30-24 victory over Cambridge-Salem on Friday night in Ravena.
Locker’s first scoring tote staked Ravena to a 7-0 lead after the first period, but the second stanza belonged to the visitors where a 10-yard scoring strike from Brice Burr to Dillion Hughes and a 3-yard TD run by Connor Chilson gave Cambridge-Salem a 12-7 advantage at the half.
In the third period Lockner scored on runs of 18 and 10 yards giving the lead back to Ravena at 22-12 heading to the final frame.
Early in the quarter Cambridge-Salem trimmed the deficit to 22-18 when Zack Price rumbled in with a fumble recovery from 10 yards while the point after attempt failed.
Later in the period Ravena padded their lead on a one yard run by Deandre English and a two-point conversion for a 30-18 cushion, before Eli Danio closed out the scoring for C-S on a three yard touchdown carry.
Chilson finished with 120 yards rushing on 16 carries to lead Cambridge-Salem while Lockner ran for 137 yards and three touchdowns for the host Indians.
